  • Persistent Surveillance Over Wide Areas

ESEN Wide Area Surveillance (WAS) products, which are wide-area motion imagery (WAMI) solutions, provide fully-automated, real-time persistent surveillance over city-sized areas using EO/IR sensors and state-of-the-art image processing algorithms.
    WAS

    How It Works?

Compared to traditional surveillance systems which provide straw-alike look into very small areas, ESEN Wide Area Surveillance System products provide complete surveillance over very large areas, while utilizing highly detailed live feed chip-outs of areas of interest. Thanks to its flexible design, ESEN Wide Area Surveillance System is integrated into various platforms to create a family of products, comprised of Land-based WAS (LWAS), Airborne WAS (AWAS), Aerostat WAS (AeroWAS), and Mini WAS (MWAS).

Wide Area Surveillance Systems (WAS) Features:

    • Live feed of multiple areas of interest at high resolution (chip-out)
    • On-board image processing and data recording
    • Real-time surveillance over city-sized areas
    • Simultaneous moving target detection & tracking
    • Anomaly detection
    • Forensic analysis
    WAS

    Advantages

Wide Area Surveillance System can be used for moving target indication and detection, vehicle & dismount tracking, anomaly detection, operation monitoring, convoy escorting, post-operation forensic analysis, and preoperative planning activities.
Unlike straw-alike looks and small circle projections of traditional airborne surveillance systems, wide area surveillance provides holistic surveillance over very large areas via imagery sensors.
Thanks to its state-of-the-art image processing algorithms, WAS provides automation in operations and mitigates human errors.
