The space shuttle developed by SNC will carry loads to the International Space Station. The project will continue until 2024. A total of 5,500 kilograms of cargo will be carried on each flight to the space.
SNC company was selected by NASA as the contractor to provide cargo delivery, return and unloading services to the International Space Station (ISS) which conducts various research in space. With NASA choosing the SNC, by 2024, the US will be able to access the International Space Station (ISS) and the spacecraft to be used in cargo delivery and the ability to land on the runway will be fulfilled.

Based on more than 40 years of inheritance of NASA development and space shuttle, SNC is the owner and main operator of the reusable Dream Chaser spacecraft, which has been in development for more than 10 years, including six years under NASA’s Commercial Crew Program.
SNC’s Dream Chaser Cargo System features are:
– An innovative folding wing design that allows the Dream Chaser spacecraft to fit inside the existing launch vehicle bodywork; this feature makes the tool compatible with a wide range of rockets and ensures space access.
Its simultaneous 5500kg pressured and non-pressured delivery capacity to International Space Station: this figure is above the requirements of NASA’s CRS2 Request Proposal.
Its suitableness for high reusability which reduces costs and makes them ready for re-flight. Service responsiveness to pressurized cargo return; This way, scientific experiments are carried out in the intended way and without causing contamination while allowing a fast return to researchers.
Re-entering the atmosphere with low g force and landing on the runway; this feature is important in terms of providing accurate access to sensitive cargos and scientific experiments and immediate access to cargo.
Use of non-toxic fuels and consumables; Dream Chaser is the first vehicle to have this degree of environmental responsibility ever.
The Dream Chaser Program will continue over the center in Louisville, Colorado. In connection with its international partners, SNC plans to significantly expand its activities in Colorado and throughout the United States to support the needs of the tender.
The impact of SNC and its partner organizations on employment growth and the economic context is now spread across 25 states and 15 countries across the US, and the impact is expected to increase with the CRS2 tender.
